About the company
Roadies Group of Companies
Founded in 2002 by Harry Chahal, the Roadies Group of Companies has steadily grown from a small shunt company into an asset based provider of truck and driver services that include shunting, dedicated contract carriage, drayage, local cartage, round trip TL and in the near future warehousing will be incorporated into the Roadies Group of Companies suite of services.
Still relatively unknown in the marketplace, Roadies is a boutique transportation provider. Small enough to ensure every customer receives the highest level of attention, yet large enough and with the financial stability to invest in trucks, drivers and infrastructure as we secure future contracts.
At Roadies we work in collaboration with our clientele to promote and launch transportation solutions uniquely engineered to meet the specific demands of each account. Regardless of working with customers directly or through a 3PL provider, Roadies will foster a partnership with you and your team to deliver best in class services.
Understanding that our customers are challenged to create budgetary efficiencies while simultaneously focussing on improving service, every Roadies program is launched with our customers’ needs and requirements in mind.
To help differentiate Roadies, we strive to provide competitive pricing, enhance driver productivity levels and are committed to seeking long term customer specific continuous improvement initiatives.
Roadies recognizes the importance of doing what we can to help preserve the environment and to assist in this initiative we have invested greatly during the past two years purchasing brand new day cabs and shunt trucks and will continue to do so in the future as we continue to grow our business.
With the injection of new trucks, we not only show our customers that we have a vested interest in the long term success of their programs, we’re also doing our part to help keep emissions to acceptable levels.
